01 — The idea

Designing a snowball game.

Snowball League explored what would happen if informal snowball fighting became a purpose-designed recreational game.

02 — The scoring vest

Turning a hit into a score.

The grate breaks up incoming snow and helps prevent players from directly packing snow into the collection pocket.

The pocket collects snow passing through the target.

The stopper flap helps prevent collected snow from exiting when a player bends or moves.

03 — Testing the game

From prototype to play.

Physical prototypes were tested through actual play in different environments to observe how the game and scoring equipment worked in use.

04 — Patents

From design to patent.

Development of the scoring system resulted in patent filings and grants in multiple jurisdictions.
